Welcome Beta Testers!

PSYC E-599, Spring 2025

Hello Capstone Colleagues,

Thank you for being here to test my capstone project, Psychedelic Support and Integration: Facilitated Innerwork (PSI:FI). This prototype that you’re about to evaluate does three things:

  1. Provides a 12-week, evidence-based program for participants in both regulated and unregulated therapeutic psychedelic experiences to prepare for and then integrate their journey.
  2. Has the integrated ability to deliver and track a range of pre-/post- psychometric measures to participants.
  3. Is built on a social platform which allows for participant interaction and peer support; as well as offering educational resources and links to current, accurate, and objective information about the psychedelic more broadly.

Ready to jump in? The video below will provide a quick orientation on how to approach the beta test. A checklist of what to take a look at and tour is provided after that, for you to follow along in a live, structured way.

I hope you enjoy your time here. All feedback is appreciated!

Warmly,

Andrew Leonard

What’s next?

After watching the orientation and reading this section, click button below to open the signup form for the site in a new window. You’ll be able to come back to this page and reference the checklist below, which will make sure you’re hitting all of the app’s main functionality.

It is recommended that you start your evaluation on laptop/desktop — you’ll be prompted to explore the app on mobile later on.

Remember that this is still just a prototype that I’m actively working on as we drive towards the end of the term — you may see things change, or some of the styling being inconsistent. The ask is to focus more on the main functionality, the underlying flow and structure of the elements that are provided here. You’ll be able to go through the first two weeks of the program content as were presented in the low-/medium-fidelity phases. These are:

  • Module 0: Consents, Pre-program Measures, and Orientation.
  • Module 1: Grounding in Strengths.

The intent of this beta is to imagine yourself as a participant encountering PSI:FI for the first time, either through stumbling upon us themselves or by being referred through a provider. From their perspective, the participant is about to embark on some form of psychedelic medicine within a month’s time. This experience may be with any substance (psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine), and in any context (e.g., clinical, out-of-country retreat, indigenous ceremony). They are likely some combination of excited, anxious, and trepidatious. Try and feel into this participant experience as you work through the material.

With all that out of the way, click the button below to begin!

(PS – You can use the checklist below to guide you along — there’s no requirement to submit it when you’re done. If you ever need to find the checklist again, just come back to the homescreen by clicking the PSI:FI logo at the top of the screen!)

Module 0: Course flow
This module orients the participant to the course, handles consent/waivers, and provides an orientation to the site. Answer the psychometrics any way you feel appropriate (real or false data). The PERMA assessment will be used in a future lesson, if you would like to see true results later.

Module 1: Course flow
Module 1 is the first real "content" module. There is a significant amount here. Work through at your own pace, participate in any activities you would like to.
